Avurudu Celebration — Live Coverage

The public Avurudu celebration at Viharamahadevi Park draws families across Colombo for traditional games, food stalls and cultural performances. Our live broadcast plan deployed five roaming cinema cameras with wireless transmitter packs, a drone for opening crowd flyovers, and a mobile control van handling the live cut. Cultural commentators integrated cleanly with the live feed. The four-hour broadcast stayed live without dropping; archive footage later became a 30-minute cultural documentary.
