About this operator
The LED Wall Operator Technician is a junior-level LED wall assistant who supports senior LED wall operators during event installations. Junior LED wall operators assist with physical LED panel assembly, connecting panels into the correct array configuration, managing basic content playback during events, and monitoring the LED wall system throughout the event. This is a support role that works under senior operator direction. The junior operator handles the physical assembly work and basic playback tasks while the senior operator manages video processor configuration, content mapping, and colour calibration.
This is our basic tier - trained for standard event LED wall operation and content playback. We do not position this operator as a senior professional or industry expert. Things to know
- Standard booking covers 8 hours. Overtime is charged at 150% of the hourly rate per additional hour.
- LED wall operator provides labor only — LED panels, video processors, and related equipment are rented separately.
- For complex LED wall installations, a senior LED wall operator must be booked to oversee the operation.
- Venue power supply (230V) must be available. Generator rental available separately.
- LED wall setup requires adequate venue access for panel delivery and installation.
- Structural support for hanging or stacked LED walls must be confirmed with venue.
- Setup and assembly time (2–4 hours) is included in the booking duration — plan event timing accordingly.
- Travel charges apply for locations outside Colombo district.
- Meals and refreshments for the LED wall operator must be arranged by the client for events exceeding 4 hours.
- Advance booking required — minimum 3 days notice.
- Cancellation within 24 hours of the event forfeits the booking fee.
