Positions & specializations
About this operator
The Professional Live Sound Senior Engineer manages the Monitor of House (MOH) mix — what performers hear on stage. MOH engineers work closely with musicians and performers to deliver custom monitor mixes through floor wedges and in-ear monitor systems, ensuring each performer hears exactly what they need to deliver their best performance. This role is distinct from FOH (Front of House), which manages what the audience hears. The MOH engineer sits at a monitor console near the stage and is dedicated to performer sound rather than audience sound. Senior MOH engineers have extensive experience with live bands, concert environments, and complex multi-performer monitoring setups. They handle stage monitor mixing, in-ear monitor (IEM) systems, and coordinate with FOH engineers on larger productions.
This is our senior professional tier - capable of serious live events, concerts, conferences, and commercial productions. We do not position this operator as an industry expert or award-grade specialist. For arena tours, festival headline acts, or world-class studio mastering, please engage an independent industry specialist directly.
