Positions & specializations
About this operator
The Professional Audio Senior Mix Engineer is actually a senior sound technician role — this person handles the physical setup, wiring, and troubleshooting of audio systems. They rig speakers to flown positions or stands, run signal cables and power distribution, configure amplifiers and processing equipment, and ensure all audio equipment is properly connected and functioning before the event begins. This is a technical operations role focused on making sure audio gear is physically installed correctly and reliably. While they can support mixing during events, their primary value is getting complex audio systems rigged, wired, and operational safely.
This is our senior professional tier - capable of serious live events, concerts, conferences, and commercial productions. We do not position this operator as an industry expert or award-grade specialist. For arena tours, festival headline acts, or world-class studio mastering, please engage an independent industry specialist directly.
